Assessment, not assumption
Every system is reviewed on its own terms. If a supported path does not exist, we say so rather than working around it.
OTHER PHONE SYSTEMS
Your phone system is not on our list of named pages - that does not mean it cannot be assessed.
Most businesses in this position have been told the only way to add AI voice is to move their numbers to a new platform and rebuild the routing they already trust.
If your PBX supports compatible SIP connectivity, a dedicated extension or supported SIP connection may be able to bridge selected calls to a VoxLink AI agent.
We assess before we promise. Compatibility depends on your PBX, its SIP architecture, authentication, network configuration and routing requirements.
Answer calls, book appointments, qualify leads, handle enquiries and connect customers with your team - 24/7.

Other Phone Systems + VoxLink
Keep your phone system. Keep your numbers. Add AI to the conversations you choose.
Compatibility
The connection model is SIP-based, so the question is always whether your specific system can present a compatible SIP registration or trunk connection to VoxLink, and whether your network and routing allow it. That is a per-deployment answer, not a product claim.
We do not say VoxLink works with any PBX, and we do not publish a compatibility list for systems we have not explicitly verified. What we do is assess yours: the PBX and version, the SIP architecture available to it, the authentication model, the network and firewall conditions, and the call routing you actually want.
Every system is reviewed on its own terms. If a supported path does not exist, we say so rather than working around it.
A compatible SIP registration or trunk connection has to be available and permitted on your PBX for this model to apply.
Where a path exists, your existing system continues to own the numbers, users and routing while selected calls reach the AI.
What VoxLink adds
Where compatible, a chosen route reaches AI while the rest of the PBX behaves normally.
Where routing allows, out-of-hours calls can be answered instead of going to voicemail.
Where your PBX supports an overflow or no-answer destination, that path can reach AI.
Capture bookings and qualify enquiries on compatible call paths.
Where the transfer method is supported by your PBX and validated in testing.
The SIP model supports both when authentication, network access and routing are configured correctly.
In practice
The general shape of a compatible SIP-based connection, in plain language.
A customer calls your existing business number.
Your PBX receives the call and applies your current routing rules.
A rule you configure sends selected calls over a compatible SIP connection to VoxLink.
The AI answers, handles the conversation and captures the outcome.
The call completes, or transfers back to your team where that routing is supported.
Outcome: a quote request captured that would otherwise have rung out.
Positioning
VoxLink's SIP connection model is designed for businesses that want to keep their current phone system. A dedicated PBX extension or supported SIP connection can bridge selected calls between the existing phone environment and a VoxLink AI Agent.
There is no charge to establish whether a supported path exists, and no requirement to change your existing phone system contract.
See VoxLink pricing and plans →Your existing PBX and the way it routes calls today.
Your current numbers, trunks and provider arrangements, where routing permits.
Your extensions, users and internal call flows.
The decision about which calls are sent to AI - for example after hours, overflow or one dedicated number.

Technical model
For PBX-extension integration, the connection typically uses an extension number, extension username/password and PBX server address. The credentials configured in VoxLink must match the PBX. The connection can support inbound and outbound calling when the PBX, network and routing are configured correctly.
This page focuses on the PBX-extension concept. Our technical team can also assess alternative direct-number or SIP-provider architectures for your deployment.
Requirements
Gathered privately with your administrator. Extension IDs, usernames, passwords and server addresses are never published on this site.
Setup
Our team works through this with you. No configuration details, credentials or server addresses are ever published.
Confirm the PBX supports compatible SIP registration or trunk connectivity.
Create a dedicated SIP extension/account or an approved SIP connection.
Gather the extension/account ID, username/password and PBX or SIP server address.
Configure the matching SIP connection in VoxLink.
Route selected inbound calls.
Configure outbound routing and caller ID if required.
Test inbound, outbound, audio, DTMF, transfer and failover.
Before go-live
Compatibility and call quality are confirmed on your environment before customers reach the AI.
